Dear Sir,

I thank you for your inquiry regarding our schooner, The Mary Ann. Please find the enclosed informa­tion which I hope you will find interesting.

The Mary Ann is a 103 year-old gaffed rugged wooden schooner currently able to accomodate 32 passengers. Early next season we will be increasing our capacity to 49 passengers. The Mary Ann is 89 feet long and weighs approximately 60 gross tons. Our rates for the 1999 season were $300 per hour for a minimum of three hours. There will be a price increase next year but it will be minimal.

Although the 1999 season is over, we are currently taking reservations for next season, which will com­mence during April 1999. Please consider advance booking with us if you are at all interested in that special day as each year we have to turn away so many people who request a particular time and day. We do offer discounts to customers who are able to make reservations and pay in full before March 31st, 1999.

Letter 2

 

The Thirteenth Annual Holiday Store will be held in the lobby of the Main Street Fire Station on Dec. 6, 7, and 8 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. New toys will be given to the parents of approximately 400 under­privileged children at this time.

If you can HELP any or all of the following after­noons, we will need YOU to help set up and oper­ate the store. We need volunteers on the afternoon of Dec. 6, 7, and 8 to set up the store and work as clerks and gift wrappers. We need you to please sign your name below, indicating the date you will be able to help.
